Bitwarden, Enterprise Single Sign On - Bitwarden Families
If you are currently in a Department or Group that uses Bitwarden for passwords/secrets and you would like to set up a personal account for your own passwords, you can send yourself a premium account invitation through the Free Bitwarden Families.

Once you receive an email from Bitwarden to accept your Free Bitwarden Families personal vault, you will need to click on the Accept Offer button.


You will need to select the Create account that is under the login block. When you do you will be presented with this page:

The next screen tells you that an email to complete enrollment has been sent to your personal email address.

When you check your email, you will receive an email that asked for you to create your account.

When you click on the Create Account button, your browser will open to a screen where you can set up your Bitwarden master password.

When your password is set up you will see a screen about creating an organization. You will have to put a Credit Card into claim your Free Bitwarden Families, you will not be charged, but the information is there in case your account is removed from the Illinois Enterprise Organization. (This could happen if you move to a department that doesn't have a Bitwarden Collection or if you leave the university). You will see the screen below, fill out the required information and submit.
