Regulated Research, How to Install Applications on a Regulated Research VM from Company Portal
This document outlines how to initiate the automated install of a 3rd party or Webstore application on a VM controlled within the Regulated Research Enclave. This process occurs through Company Portal.
To install from Company Portal
- From the desktop select the Company Portal web shortcut.

- If it is your first time visiting Company Portal on this device, select View Devices

- Then press Tap Here to Tell Us Which Device You Are Using

- Then select which Virtual Machine you are currently on. If you have more than one, and you are unsure which when you open the list, you can go to Windows Settings, where the name of the device will be at the top when you open settings.

- Once your device has been selected, navigate over to the Apps pane

- Select the app you want then select Install

- If prompted, select Open when the browser tries to connect to the Intune Management Extension on your device. Optionally, you may check the box to prevent having to select the Open key when installing future apps.

- When the app has completed installing, you may see it on the Desktop, but it will always be available in the Start Menu
