Office 365, Email, Exchange, Clearing Outlook on Windows auto-complete cache

I want to clear the cache of names/addresses that pop up when entering addresses in the To: field in Outlook.

You can clear your address cache in Outlook on Windows by doing the following:

  1. Click the file menu and select Options
  2. In options click the Mail tab
  3. Scroll down roughly half way until you see "Send Messages"
  4. Click Empty Auto-Complete List
  5. Click "Yes" in the confirmation window

Note: As of 11/11/2024 this feature does not exist in New Outlook, You have to either delete entries one at a time by manually searching or switch back to the Classic Outlook Experience.
