Safer Illinois, Reset or Remove my Information

How can I reset or remove my information in the Safer Illinois app?

Some users may want to reset or remove their information in Safer Illinois. This is a useful step in troubleshooting issues with Safer Illinois.

After removing your information from Safer Illinois, restart your phone, and then you may re-install the app and create a new account at any time.  

After uninstalling, restarting your phone, reinstalling, and repeating on-boarding, Safer Illinois can retrieve your most recent test result.

To reset or remove your information from Safer Illinois:

  1. In Safer Illinois, open the Settings screen by tapping the gear icon in the top right.
  2. Scroll down and tap Personal Info under Your Account
  3. Tap Remove My Information and then confirm on the next screen.
  4. Uninstall the app and reset your phone 

If you are troubleshooting an issue with the app, make sure to uninstall the app and restart your phone before re-installing from the app stores.
