UIUC AnyWare - Can't Connect to Server / Storefront Error

If you receive the error "Cannot connect to the server" or "Cannot connect to storefront" when using Citrix Workspace, below are steps to reconfigure your Citrix Workspace Connection for Mac or Windows. 

This is a sample "Cannot connect to the server" error

Can't Connect to Server

If using a Mac computer:

    1. open Citrix Workspace
    2. log in to Citrix Workspace
    3. from top menu bar, select Citrix Workspace then Preferences
    4. select Accounts
    5. select Store as shown in attached image and then select the "minus" symbol
    6. select OK to confirm
    7. restart your computer
    8. log back in to your computer, open Citrix Workspace
    9. select Set up Account
    10. type "uiucanyware.cloud.com" without quotes in the text field and select ok
    11. try to connect to the service

Remove Stored Connection

 

    If using a Windows Computer

    1. open Citrix Workspace
    2. log in to Citrix Workspace
    3. from user menu bar, find and select the initial of your last name in upper right
    4. select Accounts
    5. select Store as shown in attached image and then select Remove
    6. select OK to confirm
    7. restart your computer
    8. log back in to your computer, open Citrix Workspace
    9. select Set up Account
    10. type "uiucanyware.cloud.com" without quotes in the text field and select ok
    11. try to connect to the service
