AITS, How to use the Affiliate NetID Manager
The External Affiliation system is utilized to manage individuals requiring a NetID who are typically not students or employees. It is meant to replace the Affiliate NetIDs process for both individual and allied departments (Identity and Access Management, Affiliate NetID Manager FAQ). The affiliate may be someone who currently has an active NetID for other reasons, or people with a first time university relationship. This process will find and reuse the UIN and NetID from an existing identity. If a UIN and NetID are not found, the system will generate a UIN and NetID for the affiliate.

You can access the individual requests web page here.
The next page the required information will need to be provided. Middle name is optional, first and last are required along with the date of birth and gender.
Please make sure to provide any previous association with the University, including the previous UIN and NetID. If you do not remember your UIN/NetID please select No.
