CRCE Community COVID Testing FAQ
COVID testing for students, staff, and faculty is no longer available at the Illini Union. All students, staff, faculty, and community testing will be conducted at CRCE.
How will a patient be notified of test results?
The patient will receive their results through the patient portal at Login/Register (pointnclick.com)
How long will it take to receive the test results?
Results are normally received within 24 hours from the time a sample is received in the lab
What information is required to test?
An email address or phone number is needed to be tested and receive results
Who can a patient contact if they are having issues logging into the portal?

What is the agency code for the CRCE testing site?
Will I get my results from the McKinley portal?
Results for the Shield test done at CRCE will not appear in the McKinley portal. You may access your results in the portal at Login/Register (pointnclick.com)
Why will we not get our SHIELD results through the McKinley app?
SHIELD Illinois does not utilize the McKinley Health app and the McKinley Health Center does not provide the test
What are the testing hours?
Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
