Technology Services Search Initiation and Hiring Forms

The below links and documents are used by the Office of the CIO and Technology Services in preparation for hiring new staff. Please review each bullet point to determine which resource is best for you based upon your hiring intention.   • Unified Search Initiation Form - Once budget approval is approved for a new or replacement position, complete the Unified Search Initiation Form to launch the search process with Technology Services HR. 
  • Student Hiring Request - The Student Hiring Request form is used to request an undergraduate, grad hourly, or grad assistant employee. If hiring a graduate student, please include a summary of duties the individual will perform. To complete the form, down the document, enter the information, and email it to techsvc-hr@illinois.edu
  • Hourly Hiring Request  - The Hourly Hiring Request form is used to request an hourly position via Extra Help or a Returning Retiree. To complete the form, download the document, enter the information, and route to your Director, Business / Finance, and HR for approval.
