General Information

All university Apple devices that are purchased via the appropriate channels will be automatically enrolled into the Jamf Pro service. This helps to ensure that university devices are enrolled in endpoint management and receive default security configurations to comply with university security standards and increase protection for our people, resources and data.

Within Jamf Pro, devices must be assigned the appropriate organizational configuration for their college or department before powering the device on for the first time and booting it into Setup Assistant. Devices that reach Setup Assistant before being assigned will see the following dialog boxes and users will be unable to use their device. At this point, the operating system will need to be erased and re-installed after the organizational configuration has been assigned in Jamf Pro.
