Wireless, Using IllinoisNet_Start on iOS

This page provides instructions for using IllinoisNet_Start to connect to IllinoisNet on an iOS device.

IllinoisNet_Start is used to configure your laptop, phone, or tablet to IllinoisNet. Once you have successfully completed the configuration steps, you no longer need to use IllinoisNet_Start. You will be able to connect to IllinoisNet directly
  1. Go to wireless settings and connect to the IllinoisNet_Start SSID

  2. Open a browser window
  3. Input your NetID or guest username and password when prompted

  4. Click on "Click here to autoconfigure your device"

  5. Click on "Click here to install the iOS network profile"

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the profile and you will be prompted to enter credentials for a second time.

  7. Once the profile is installed, select "Done"

  8. You should now be connected to IllinoisNet

If you find yourself stuck on IllinoisNet_Start, you can start over by going to in your phone's browser.
