A student urgently needs to suppress his or her Electronic Directory (ED) information because of an emergency.
Technology Services can suppress a student's Electronic Directory
information (called FERPA suppression). Normally, students go to the
Office of the Registrar to fill out and submit the paperwork. The
student's directory information will be hidden within several business days when Technology Services pulls the routine data feed from OAR.
If a student has an emergency situation in which they need to suppress their directory information, Technology Services can temporarily hide their information even if the student has not yet been to the Office of the Registrar.
