Electronic Directory, No student or staff in type field

I do not have "staff" or "student" listed in my type field in my Electronic Directory entry.

Without a student or staff in the type field of your Electronic Directory entry, you cannot authenticate with several UIUC services.

Students:

Proof or registration is required before we can add a student type to the Electronic Directory entry. If a student is not registered, the student type will be automatically removed when deactivations are run each semester.


Staff and Faculty:
---------------------------
Employees and faculty of the University of Illinois might not have a staff type in their field due to an issue with HR/payroll. We cannot add the staff type as it will be overwritten when the Electronic Directory syncs with Payroll. Employees will need to speak with HR regarding their status.
