Identity Management. Deactivation, Service continuation for graduates who continue UIUC affiliation

I am a graduating senior but I will continue to be affilated with UIUC as an employee or grad student. What will change about my email, file storage, or other accounts?
As long as you are with the university, your NetID will stay the same, and any password you have should not change.

You will need to make sure that your appointment goes through payroll if you will be employed, or that you are registered for classes if you will continue as a student. Your email address will stay the same (netID@illinois.edu). Access to services such as U of I Box should not be affected, given that all hiring and admission protocols are followed.

You will be converted to an Exchange account as opposed to Google Apps. Your inbox should automatically be created in the transition to staff/grad student. Once created it can be accessed via outlook.office365.com. If the account is not automatically created for you, please contact the Help Desk requesting your Exchange account. You should also sign up for 2-factor authentication. See [Link for document 65940 is unavailable at this time] for more information.
