Campus Mailing Lists, List rejects owner's messages
I own a list, but my messages are rejected by the list.
If a list is restricted and not public, the owner's email address must also be a subscriber for the list to accept messages. This is not the default.
Email addresses are used as a unique identifier, so be sure that you are using the address that is on the list. Each address is seen as a different subscriber, moderator, or owner.
This also means that you can use multiple email addresses with the same list by simply adding additional addresses to the roles they'll be used with.
In order to verify the logic for who can send to the list, owners can navigate to the list in question at lists.illinois.edu, click the Edit List Config tab, then Sending/Receiving setup, Who Can Send Messages.
