Skype for Business, Use the side-by-side view
On this page, you can learn how to view Skype for Business on the same screen as the other programs running on your computer or mobile device.
If you want to work in Skype for Business and other programs at the same time, you can run Skype for Business side by side the other programs, by doing one of the following:

Swipe in from the top of the screen and curving either to the right or the left.

If you’re using a mouse, move the pointer to the top of the screen where it will change to a hand. Click and drag the mouse down to shrink the Skype for Business window, and then drag the resized window either to the right or the left of the screen.
A smaller size of the Skype for Business window snaps to the side you choose, but you are no longer limited to the old 320 pixel size. Depending on your screen resolution, you can have up to four windows and resize them by selecting and dragging the bar in the middle of the windows.

You can access other Skype for Business features—conversation history, voice mail, and meetings—from the snapped view home screen, but when you do, the snapped view will “unsnap,” that is, you’ll return to the full-size Skype for Business screen. Other tasks, including searching for contacts and having conversations with more than one person, you can do only from the full-size Skype for Business screen.
To return to the full-size Skype for Business screen, from the snapped view, just slide or drag the snapped view sidebar across the screen.
