UC, Skype for Business, Robo Calls

I received a call from a U of I number on Lync/Skype for Business and it was a robocall. What's going on?

Unfortunately this is possible and groups with sufficient technology can spoof any phone number on caller ID. The appropriate groups are looking into solutions regarding this.
