Logging into Ricoh IM C3510 Printers
Our printers Luna, Titan, and Charon have all been upgraded to Ricoh IM C3510 printers, which allow users to log into their Illinois accounts directly from the printer in order to view their Papercut balance, as well as access the Copy and Scan Features. To do so, use the touch screen console on the front of the printer. You’ll be prompted to enter your NetID (make sure to include ‘@illinois.edu’) and password.

Once logged in, you will want to tap on “Use Personal Account” on the right hand side of the screen.

From there, you can view your PaperCut balance. You can then tap on “Use Device Functions” in order to access the main menu for the printer. Alternatively, if you just wait a few seconds the printer will take you to this screen automatically.

At this screen, you can Copy, Scan, or navigate back to the PaperCut page in order to view your balance. Note that to actually print through papercut, you’ll still need to use the website and send the order to the printer of your choice. Scanning is free to use on these printers, but Copying will, naturally, take from your school balance since it will use ink and paper!

When scanning, your university email should already be accessible through the console. It'll send a scan of the document directly there. Be sure to check your other folders in case you don't see it.

When you’re done, be sure to log out by tapping the logout button on the top right. If you don’t, there is a chance that the next person behind you may accidentally print from your account and use up your PaperCut allowance.
