iSchool Rooms: How to Use the TV Displays in Room 53

Room 53 has a total of eight TV displays. The main displays are in the front and back of the room, with the TVs on the side walls acting as secondary displays.

Main Displays

The main displays are both turned on by the remote sitting at the front desk or by manually pressing the power button.

Regardless of what output is selected from the control panel in the cage, the input for the TV should not change. If, however, the source needs to be reset to match what the output of the control panel is, the TV source should be set to HDMI 2 on the front TV display and HDMI 1 on the back TV display.

Note: To manually power on the main displays, the power button for all devices is located on the bottom edge, centered.

Auxiliary Displays

All six of the auxiliary displays will default to displaying the same content as the main displays. These displays will need to be turned on manually. To turn on the displays, locate the power button, which is under the screens in the middle, under the indicator light.

There are also HDMI cables attached to the back of the aux displays so that students can project to them. Typically, HDMI 1 will bring up what is connected to the cable at the desk and HDMI 2 will to match the output of the control panel (built-in, room HDMI input, or wireless).
