KB User's Guide - SitePref Tab - Adding Meta Tags to your KB site
Note
You must have full administrative permissions in your space to perform these steps. This means access to the OwnerDocs, GroupDocs, SitePref, and Users tabs.
Meta tags are snippets of machine friendly text that describe a document's content. They don't appear on the document itself, but only in the document's code. They serve as little content descriptors that tell search engines what the document is about. Search engines compare the words within each of these sections and "ranks" the site dependent upon how well the information matches. Meta tags optimize your KB site for more efficient indexing and easier sharing of your content.
While there are many Tile Builder sites on the web, we have chosen to use http://www.buildmypinnedsite.com/en to discuss this feature.
