Classrooms - AV - Zoom - HD video
How to make sharper video image when using Zoom or other video conferencing on the PC or Mac available in a podium.
Zoom and other video conferencing software is installed in all machines available at all podiums in the large classrooms and video conferencing rooms. The cameras are HD video cameras. However, you may have to tell Zoom or your preferred video conferencing software to use an HD-quality image.
After turning on the camera in Zoom, use the small carat next to the camera on/off button as shown.
Choose "Video Settings..." from the list of options.
You will get the pop up Settings configuration page from Zoom. Be sure the "HD" checkbox is selected. Then close that window. Note that you can choose to mirror your video or not as you prefer. Mirrored video is likely on by default.
