Bluestem Authentication
This is a common login screen for some UIC Services
Some UIC services use Bluestem Authentication. When you log in to something using the page shown below, this is generally an indicator that you are accessing a UIC account or service. Selecting "SSO" for the login option from an application or accessing your Google account with your UIC netid will bring you to the login screen explained below.
Type your UIC netid in the first box (not your whole netid@uic.edu email address)
Type your UIC Common Password in the second box
Click the LogIn button
After you have successfully authenticated, you will be returned to the service you were trying to access.
As of the date of this writing, services that use Bluestem Authentication for UIC members include: Zoom, WebEx, Blackboard, Echo360, Webstore, and many others. For more information about different kinds of authentication used at UIC, see this article from UIC Technology Solutions.
