These devices were enabled by COMIR to allow people to run Zoom updates without restrictions. Use the instructions for Personal Computer above.
Zoom is deployed on COMIR Windows machines automatically. This means, every time the computer restarts while connected to UIC ethernet inside of COM, the machine will get necessary updates. This includes a recent version of Zoom. Although the *most* recent version of Zoom may not be included, COMIR will deploy a new version of Zoom for major Zoom updates. This usually occurs every few months.
If Zoom is outdated on a machine connected to the wired ethernet network in COM, restart the computer from the Start menu and Zoom will update during the reboot along with other programs. If you have not restarted your computer on the network in a long time, you may have many updates to install and the reboot could take some time.
Mobile devices
The app store for your device will include updates for Zoom. On your personal device, you can choose to run Zoom updates automatically so the version will always be current.
