If your device does not have an HDMI port, you may need an adapter that connects your device to the HDMI cable. Below is an example of an adapter from USB-C to HDMI:

  2. Turn on the display.

There is a button along the bottom edge of the display, or along the left or right sides near the bottom of the display.

  3. Wait up to 10 seconds

for your device and the display to recognize each other.

Both your device screen and the large monitor/display may flash several times

during that interval before the preferred resolution is finalized.

  4. Verify that your device is sending sound to the display

if you have audio or any video with audio to present.

  5. Turn off the display when done.
