This page describes what to do if the 'Call Voicemail' option does not appear in the call dropdown in Skype for Business.
Client Services and the Referral Coordinator send non-urgent calls straight to doctors' voicemails via Skype for Business. This is preferable to calling their office phones, hoping they do not answer, then letting the call roll over to voicemail.
On occasion the option to send a call straight to voicemail is not available. If it is determined that the recipient does have a voicemail box but the Voice Mail option does not appear as in the screenshot above, this is likely because the recipient is a Skype for Business on Mac user.
To fix the issue, they should log into an up to date Skype for Business client on Windows and check their voicemail once from there (see below screenshot). This will provision some settings within the Skype for Business service. Afterwards, the option to send a call straight to voicemail should appear right away.
