ATLAS Data Services Center - What is the Data Services Center?
A brief overview of the Data Services Center application and how it can improve your access to data
The Data Services Center (DSC) is an online, self-service report generation engine that aims to provide secured, categorized, and flexible parameter-based reports that support units’ operational needs and data-driven decision-making.
ATLAS built the DSC as a collaborative hub where data providers across the university can ensure that end-users have a stellar access experience and get exactly the data they need.
The DSC is searchable using a text search or metadata and gives you the ability to favorite reports. Set up your profile to have the DSC suggest reports that may be of interest to you.
Key features and benefits provided by DSC include:
- A centralized application for users to find data and reports relevant to their positions
- A user profile allowing users to customize their experience to support their data workflow
- A 'registration' site enabling data providers to register data and reports for access by relevant users
To start searching for reports, just log into DSC using your campus credentials.
Data Providers on campus interested in registering your reports into the DSC should email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for Data Provider access.
