Chrome (Win) - Using the Popup Blocker

This document explains how to enable and disable Chrome's popup blocker. For general information on popup blockers, see Popup Blocker - FAQ

  1. Open Chrome, click the Menu (three vertical dots) and click Settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of Settings, and click Advanced.

  3. Scroll down, and locate the Privacy and Security section. Click on Content settings.

  4. Click on the Popups section.

  5. Popups are turned off (blocked) by default. Click the switch to turn off popup blocking and enable popups. In this screen, you can add exceptions and explicit blocks.
