Skype for Business, Location incorrect or not showing

My Skype for Business location is wrong, or it doesn't show my location at all and says set location.

Please provide the following information to the Help Desk at

  1. NetID
  2. Operating system
  3. Form factor (laptop or desktop) 
  4. Connection type (wired, wireless, or both) 
  5. Location (building name) 
  6. Jack number that they are plugged in to (only if they are using a wired connection) 
  7. MAC address(es) (we need the MAC for both wired and wireless if  connecting to both, otherwise just the MAC for the network interface they're using) 
  8. (Optional) Additional information (Was this working before? When did you notice it failing? Anything else you want to tell us?)
