Skype for Business, IP phone locks
IP phone lockout occurs after 1 hour of inactivity.
Is there a way to extend the lockout time for my IP phone? How long before it locks?
The timeout setting is a universal server-side setting for Polycom CX500, CX600, CX3000 and Aastra (Mitel) 6721 and 6725 IP Phone models. It cannot be changed by an individual or disabled.
NOTE: It is possible to answer calls on locked IP Phones. If you need to log in during the conversation to perform an action (e.g. transfer the call), select the unlock button and log in. Once logged in, you may transfer the call.
