Mapped Drive - File Restore

I need to have files restored. Something happened and files are missing from my mapped drive.

If you have missing files from your mapped drive and need to have your files restored, please follow the directions listed below.  
  • Reboot your machine.
  • If this does not correct the problem, please email AITS Service Desk at or call them at (217) 333-3102 or (312) 996-4806 and they will send a ticket to the group for you.  You will need to include the following information:
    • Name(s)
    • Location of file(s) - Should not be your mapped drive letter (i.e. S:\\Docs).  Please request your information in FQDN format (i.e. \\ui\obfs\files\GCO\docs).
    • The date you would like it restored from. (28 days is the longest it can be restored.)
