Web Intelligence - File Exists but is Invalid Error While Opening a Report
Various error messages that you can receive when trying to open a Web Intelligence report.
Error messages you could receive when trying to open a Web Intelligence report:
1) "The document cannot be created or opened. The error code is: FILE EXISTS BUT IS INVALID."
2) You may get an error message stating that the report is quarantined. See below for an example of the error message.

3) Another error that you could receive is "User does not have permission to open the document according to the document security lock. (WIS 30672)."
These error messages can occur when the Save for all users and Remove Document security boxes are not checked (See screenshot below). After the Business Objects 4.1 upgrade in March 2015, the reports that need the Save for all users and Remove document security boxes selected need to be sent through BOX. Please submit an email to email@example.com. The information will be sent to AITS - Decision Support. AITS - Decision Support will create a BOX folder and invite the customer having the security issue. The customer will upload the report into BOX. AITS - Decision Support will check the boxes and upload the report back into BOX for the customer to open.
