This page contains information for short-term guests and visitors to campus (i.e. people who are visiting for a few days).
What is a short-term guest account?
A short-term guest account allows you to have network and/or computer lab access while you are visiting campus for a short period of time, typically less than a week. The person or department sponsoring your visit can create one or more short-term guest account for you. Short-term guest accounts usually last for three days, but the account can be adjusted to match the length of your stay.
NOTE: If you will be a campus guest for longer than a month, you would benefit from having a long-term account instead. A long-term account, known as a guest NetID, can provide access to library resources and campus email in addition to network access. See Identity Management, Sponsored NetIDs.
