U of I Box, Sharing options are limited

When you click on the Share link next to the folder or an individual file, then on the Access drop down menu, there are only two choices: "Collaborators Only" and "Disable". Can this be changed?

Check to see if the following is set:

"Enable external links to" setting under Account Settings > Content and Sharing is set to "nothing, restrict sharing" instead of the default "folders and files."
Change the setting back to "folders and files." You should now be able to perform the requested tasks.

For the "Default new links to" , users will see "Collaborators Only" as the only active option; the other two are grayed out. CITES Security (OPIA) decided that we should restrict the default settings of new links to "Collaborators Only.
