Campus Mailing Lists, List rejects owner's messages
I own a list, but my messages are rejected by the list.
Owning a list and being a subscriber to a list are different roles. If the list is restricted and not public then the owner's email address also needs to be in the subscriber list. We've also seen subscribers using multiple email addresses, e.g. @illinois.edu, @uiuc.edu, @uillinois.edu, @gmail.com, etc. The mail list server uses the email address is unique identifier so each address is seen as a different subscriber or owner, or moderator.
If you want to use multiple email addresses then you must add the different address to the subscriber, owner or moderator setting.
