The campus policy on security cameras requires all locations with security cameras to have signs displayed that provide reasonable notification of the presence of security cameras. At a minimum this must include primary building entrances.
The placement of the signs and the text on the signs are subject to the review and approval of the Chief of Police.
The Chief of Police has approved the use of stickers to comply with campus policy. These stickers are provided at no cost to departments who use the Security Camera service.
Prior to completing this form you will need to know the number of primary building entrances in the building for which you are requesting stickers.
A primary building entrance is one that is open to the general public. For example, a door next to a loading dock would not be considered a primary door unless it was also used by the general public to enter the building. A building may have multiple primary entrances.
If a primary entrance has only one door you will need only one sticker. If your primary entrance has more than one door (e.g. the southwest entrance of the Digital Computing Lab has three sets of double doors), then you will need one sticker for each set of double doors. The photographs below show the correct use of stickers on a single door and on a double door.
