UC, Lync 2013, More About Call Park

On this page, you can learn about various Lync clients and their use of the Call Park feature.


You can use Lync to park a call in a holding queue so that another Lync user can find it and answer it.

Not all Lync clients can park and / or retrieve calls, however.

NOTE:

  • Only two-person audio calls can be parked.
  • Instant messages and online meetings cannot be parked.
  • Mobile phones cannot use Call Park to park or retreive calls.

Lync clients and Call Park

The following Lync clients can use Call Park to park calls:

  • Lync 2013
  • Lync 2010
  • Lync 2010 Attendant
  • Lync Phone Edition

The following Lync clients can use Call Park to retrieve parked calls:

  • Lync 2013
  • Lync 2010
  • Lync 2010 Attendant
  • Lync Phone Edition
  • IP common area phones
  • Lync for Mac 2011 (some versions*)
