UC, Lync 2013, Transfer a File in a Lync 2013 Meeting

On this page, you can learn how to use the Attachment tab to transfer files in a Lync 2013 meeting.

If you need to share a file with meeting participants, such as a handout, you can attach it to the meeting and let your audience download to their computers.

You can even make the file available to all participants, or to only the presenters and organizer.

NOTE:    To learn about other Lync Meeting Room features, including your options for audio, video, presentations, participants, and layouts, see Introduction to Lync Meeting Room.

Attach a file in the meeting

  1. Pause on the presentation (monitor) icon, and click the ATTACHMENTS tab.
  2. Click Add Attachment and upload the file.
  3. Click Manage Attachments > Permissions to choose who can download the file, or remove it.

Add Attachment

Meeting participants can then download the file from the presentation menu on the Attachments tab.
