Java - Chrome Permanently Blocking Java Plugin

With the upgrade of Chrome, users are experiencing errors using java plugin based applications (e.g. Banner) in the Chrome browser.

Chrome will update automatically, so if you are using Chrome, you may already be on the latest version.  Chrome has ended support for NPAPI (Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface).  The Oracle Java Plugin (www.java.com) is an NPAPI plugin that the latest version of Chrome will not longer run.

Full end of NPAPI Support for Chrome began September 2015. Java will no longer work with Chrome.

At this point, it's no longer possible to turn Java Plugin back on for Chrome.
