View Direct/Document Direct - Unable to Print

When trying to print a report from View Direct/Document Direct, the application behaves as though it is printing, however nothing comes out of the printer. No errors or warnings are presented.

Internet Explorer users must ensure the website is in their Trusted Sites list:

  1. Open Internet Explorer

  2. Select Tools -> Internet Options

  3. Click the Security tab

  4. Click Trusted Sites icon

  5. Click Sites button

  6. Enter: * then click Add

  7. Click Custom Level... button

Internet Explorer's ActiveX security settings must also be enabled so that the print plugin will run properly:

  1. Find the "ActiveX controls and plugins" section and enable:

    • Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt

    • Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls

    • Binary and script behaviors

    • Download signed ActiveX controls

    • Download unsigned ActiveX controls

    • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins

    Click OK twice
