What are the WebStore Adobe Site License rules?
WebStore will provide access to the site-license offers only to staff/faculty.
WebStore highly recommends not providing these installers to student employees because the installers have the installation passwords embedded making them very easy to abuse. If your network administrator needs to use student employees to distribute products then it is their responsibility to manage that process and risk. In addition, it is their responsibility to support the student employees as they should be the first-tier support for any Adobe site-license product installation issues as WebStore support only works with staff/faculty to resolve installation issues with Adobe products.
All that being said, student employees are governed by the staff ethical code of conduct and if they violate these terms, face the possibility of firing and disciplinary action.
The Adobe Site license provides a full line of Adobe products for unlimited installation on University owned computers.
In addition the licenses allows Faculty, Staff and Student employees to purchase a 12 month Adobe Creative Cloud Work at Home subscription which can be installed on their personal computer.
The Adobe site license does not include coverage for Student personal computers. The best option for student's is to purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription direct from Adobe's website.
