Darwin - DARS - Cannot Connect to Database
If several people are experiencing the error "Cannot connect to database: ora-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name.." , the problem may be a change to the database itself. Please send a ticket to the DBA's.
Client is receiving the error - Cannot connect to database: ora-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name.
If the encoder has recently been added to the list of DARwin end-users by the DARwin security administrator, there may be an error in the PC setup. Contact the DARwin Administrator on your campus. They will check the tnsnames file and make sure it exists and has entry the DARwin database.
