ATLAS CMS - Adding asset to webpage

Learn to add an asset to your webpage using ATLAS CMS.

Add an asset to your page

To begin, let's go in and Edit a page within our website.

click on content section to edit

To add an asset, we must first select a content section - let's select the "test page" content section.

select add image

We can see the content as we previously entered it, so let's pick the Image icon so select our image asset.

We will then see the following dialog box:

browse server

We can see here that we're able to enter a URL and then add some style parameters if we'd like.

But instead, let's select Browse Server to look at assets that we've already uploaded for use.

browse server option

Since we see the photo we believe we're looking for, let's go ahead and hit the button with the eyeball on it to preview our image.

confirm image

This looks like the correct image, so let's go ahead and select the asset for our content section.

view in content section

We now see the dialog box within the text editor that we started with - only now it's filled out with the information of the asset we selected.

Let's hit OK to confirm the use of this asset.

final view of content section

Now we can see the actual asset within the content section.

Let's hit Confirm Changes to save the use of this asset in our page.
