Webstore, Login to WebStore Remote App Server
Some software from WebStore is delivered in the form of a Remote or Virtualized Application. This applies to Stata and Minitab. It is also an addon option for SAS and SPSS. For SPSS and SAS the addon Remote Desktop App connection option must be purchased when you purchase your license. I've purchased a product to use remotely via a server but am unable to log in. What password do I need to input?
When you purchase a WebStore Remote App your account is activated in the application access group for the server.
Microsoft Remote Desktop client is required to use the RDP file. If you have a Mac computer you need to install the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac, you can download it from iTunes, search for Microsoft Remote Desktop.
Using the RDP connection file that was provided to you in your WebStore order history for your application, log in with your username and password. In addition to the connection file, there is a detailed set of instructions in the form of a PDF you should reference. - UIUC: UOFI\yournetID and your NetID password as the password.
- UIC: AD\yournetID and your common NetID password
