Webstore, Adobe Software Unit Use vs Personal Use

What is the difference between Adobe Unit Use and Personal Use software?

Unit Use for University Computers

Adobe Unit Use offers can only be purchased using a UI Banner Account since they are for installation on University owned computers. These licenses belong to the University. Contact your business office if you are unsure what Banner Account Number you should use for software purchases. Adobe Unit Use offers should only be installed on University owned computers.

You can easily find Adobe offers for Unit Use by logging into WebStore and clicking Unit Purchase then search Adobe.

Personal Use for Personal Computers

The Adobe Creative Cloud Work at home license is available to faculty/staff and should only be installed on a personally-owned computer.  The Creative Cloud Work at Home license offer is not available to student employees. This software must be uninstalled when you leave the University.

Adobe Personal Use licensing provides highly discounted pricing to faculty, staff and students, however, Adobe limits purchases to one per person for each title. These licenses can only be purchased using a personal credit card and should only be installed on your personal computer and not installed on University owned computers.

To find the Adobe offers for Personal use, log in to WebStore and click Personal Purchase then search Adobe.
