Windows Remote Desktop -

Information about how to request access and configure for use. is a remote desktop service that allows university employees to access applications such as Banner, using a preconfigured Windows environment that meets all of the system requirements for using the university's Enterprise Applications.  The following software is installed and available for use:
  • Internet Explorer
  • Java
  • Adobe Reader
  • Microsoft Office
  • Firefox
  • Business Objects/Business Intelligence
  • Microsoft Lync
  • Microsoft Silverlight  

Getting access to

Ask your Unit Security Contact to email AITS System Access Management to request access to the remote desktop server on your behalf.  Click here for help on finding who is your Unit Security Contact.

System requirements and connection instructions

Accessing requires:
  1. An existing connection to the University network, or central campus VPN connection
  2. A client program or operating system that supports the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).  Click here for a list of supported RDP clients.
  3. Your NetID and password, or UOFI windows credentials
