IBM Watson Analytics for Teaching

IBM offers free licenses of Watson Analytics for instructors and students for use in the classroom.

IBM Watson Analytics is a data exploration and data analytics tool. As described by IBM Watson Analytic's website:

"Watson Analytics offers you the benefits of advanced analytics without the complexity. A smart data discovery service available on the cloud, it guides data exploration, automates predictive analytics and enables effortless dashboard and infographic creation. You can get answers and new insights to make confident decisions in minutes - all on your own." (http://www.ibm.com/analytics/watson-analytics/)

This tool is now available for instruction/teaching for free through the IBM Watson Analytics Academic Program - WAP.  This free license cannot be used for research and/or office work (or any other uses beyond teaching in the classroom).

To apply for this for teaching/classroom use, please visit the IBM Watson Analytics Academic Program website and fill out the application on that site. Once you have filled out an application, please email the application to wap@us.ibm.com. They will then walk through a process with you to confirm that you are indeed using this for classroom teaching use.
