How-to's on room 22 Education Building
This is a guide to help users navigate the system in Room 22. Visit Education site for general room information.
To TURN OFF the system1. Unplug devices/log out of the Mac Mini system.
Using LAPTOP as input sourceThe LAPTOP input source can be used as an input source for Room 22 by physically plugging in any computer system using the provided cables.
Using MAC MINI as an input sourceThe MAC MINI input source is the built in computer system for Room 22. To navigate the system, you can use the keyboard and mouse provided, or use the display as a touch screen.
Using APPLE TV as an input sourceApple TV is an easy way to use Airplay‐compatible iOS devices as an input source for Room 22.
1. Choose APPLE TV as the input source on the small display screen (the projector screens will automatically come down.)
Using the ANNOTATE featureThe annotate feature allows you to use a virtual pen to draw and highlight on the display.
1. Choose annotate on the small display screen.
Using the CAPTURE feature
Changing the SETTINGSThere are 4 different options under the settings feature; audio, camera, displays and switcher. This section provides a short description of each one.
2. CAMERA: Allows you to adjust the angle and the zoom of the camera, provided it is turned on and in use. You can also use the foot pad for the same purpose.
