EDDIE/Web Intelligence Rich Client - (Windows 10) - Error When Launching Webi for the First Time Through EDDIE
After Web Intelligence Rich Client has been installed and launching Webi from EDDIE on IE for the first time and on Windows 10 a Provisioning Failure occurs.
If you receive a provisioning failure after Web Intelligence Rich Client has been installed, launch Webi from EDDIE in order to set the system name. If you are launching using IE and have Windows 10 you may receive a prompt for a package file. When the administrator credentials are provided the following error is received.

To resolve this error please follow the steps below,
- open
EDDIE
- Launch
Web Intelligence
- Save
the .zabo_wi file
- Navigate
to where the .zabo_wi was saved
- Right
click and select Open With
- Browse
for additional programs (web intelligence will not display in the
defaults)
- Navigate
to c:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects
Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86 and select WebIRichClient app
- Close
WebIRichClient
- Select Home Tab
- Select
a WebI Doc
- Save
the .zabo_wi file
- Navigate
to where the .zabo_wi was saved
- Right
click and select Open With
- select
WebIRichClient AND click the button labeled Make Default
