Digital Signage, FWi Content Manager 5.3 First Time Setup

Steps needed to set up new Content Manager users after first login.

After Logging into the Digital Signage Remote Desktop Server (

  • Double-click the FWi Content Manager icon on the Windows desktop
  • Wait for the application to launch
  • Close the application without doing anything
  • Double-click on the “FWi Setup” icon on the Windows Deskop
  • When prompted, type “Y” followed by <enter>
The next time Content Manager is run, it will have the proper configuration to connect to the campus services and you do not have to use the 'FWi Setup" utility again. 
Note that this is only for FWi version 5.3 which we are migrating to beginning 7/12/17.
