What happens to repatriated documents?
If a KB document expires and the owner abandons the document, check with the owner's group to see if they still want to own the document. If they do not want to own this document any longer, contact AITS Service Desk to determine if the document is still useful or not to them.
- If the owner's group doesn't want to keep the KB document any longer, however AITS Service Desk wants to keep the KB document, change the owner to the AITS Service Desk and have them make the necessary changes and extend the expiration date. Once it has been updated with the new owner and any revisions, set the document to be published.
- If neither the owner's group nor the AITS Service Desk want to keep the KB document, select Edit and select Submit. Then Delete the document.
