Sesquicentennial website branding

How to add sesquicentennial branding to the bottom of your website

The ATLAS Web Services team has developed some simple JavaScript code that will add a sesquicentennial banner to the bottom of your website.  The banner is mobile friendly and accessible and uses the Official sesquicentennial logo provided by the campus identity standards.  If you would like to use this banner on your site, place the following script tag in the footer of your site:

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://cdn.atlas.illinois.edu/scripts/sesquicentennial.js"></script>

This script will automatically add the banner to the bottom of the site - right before the closing body tag. The script will start displaying the banner on 2/28/2017 and will automatically stop displaying on 5/13/2018 as defined in the sesquicentennial style guide. You can view an example of the banner at the bottom of this demo site: http://staging5.atlas.illinois.edu/.

Demo Script

To have a demonstration include that will show at all times (rather than only during the official window), use the include below.

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://cdn.atlas.illinois.edu/scripts/sesquicentennialDemo.js"></script>

Please contact atlas-web@illinois.edu if you have any questions.
